Thor commanded the storm — thunder his voice, lightning his warning. To the Norse, he was the force that stood between the traveller and the wild. He was not worshipped from a distance. He was carried.

They wore it for protection on the journey.
So will you.

Mjölnir, worn

Mjölnir was Thor's hammer — not the film prop, but the pendant found in Viking-age graves and hoards. Travellers wore it before a crossing, a road, a horizon with no map. A thousand years before motorways, it meant what it means now: you're leaving, and something should go with you.
